Welcome to
Dress Like You: The Fashion Show

“Dress Like You” begins with a testimony: fashion did not just decorate life, it helped save it and gave it direction. This show is the visible expression of that transformation, turning personal healing into a public call to impact the lives of God’s people. It communicates that clothing can be more than fabric; it can be a tool for restoration, dignity, and identity in Christ.

The Heart Behind The Show

“Dress Like You” begins with a testimony: fashion did not just decorate life, it helped save it and gave it direction. This show is the visible expression of that transformation, turning personal healing into a public call to impact the lives of God’s people. It communicates that clothing can be more than fabric; it can be a tool for restoration, dignity, and identity in Christ.

In 2015, after leaving a traditional job to walk the streets and serve people in need, the vision deepened. Serving those who slept under bridges, lived in transition, or returned home from prison revealed hidden gifts—models, creatives, leaders, and storytellers—waiting to be seen. After providing clothing, food, haircuts, Bibles, and hygiene items, the question arose: “What more can I do?” That question is the seed of this fashion experience.

When God Said “Have a Fashion Show”

The answer came as a clear instruction: “Have a fashion show.” That moment shifted outreach from simple distribution to activation. Dress Like You, The Movement was birthed as a prophetic, creative response—using the runway as a platform to showcase not only outfits, but lives that have been redeemed, restored, and reimagined in God’s hands.

On this page, the show is presented as more than entertainment. It is a gathering where testimonies walk the runway, where people who were once invisible are intentionally spotlighted, and where fashion becomes a vehicle for hope. Every model, every look, every walk is part of a larger story of reinvention and resurrection.

What “Dress Like You” Represents

Dress Like You stands for authenticity—showing up as the person God created you to be, not the version the world tried to label. It honors those who have endured homelessness, incarceration, or transition, acknowledging the gifts and callings that remained alive beneath the struggle. It declares that style is not reserved for the elite; it belongs to every son and daughter of God who carries purpose.

This page should make visitors feel the movement: a fusion of faith, fashion, and community that calls people out of hiding and into their God-given identity. It invites them to see the runway as an altar and a stage where healing, creativity, and courage meet.

An Invitation To The Movement

The Dress Like You Fashion Show page closes as an open door—inviting people to attend, support, sponsor, model, or partner with the vision. It positions the show as an ongoing movement, not a one-time event, and connects it back to the core mantra: let’s excavate.

Here, “let’s excavate” becomes a call to dig beneath the surface, uncover the treasure in every story, and use fashion as a tool for building confidence, community, and Kingdom impact.
